We walk upon the horizon.
Today’s prompt is quite intriguing: Do you believe in reincarnation?
Let’s take a look at a definition.
Reincarnation is the philosophical or religious concept that the soul or spirit, after biological death, can begin a new life in a new body. Wikipedia
I have read some other blog posts online in response to today’s prompt and, while there is a wide-range of philosophical twists and ideologies, the idea of coming back for another go at life “to do more” seems to be the common thread, for the most part.
I am reminded of my own mission in life.
My personal mission statement has remained the same over the past decade: To live bravely, boldly, and happily, and to make a difference in the lives of others. What has evolved over time is the way I go about living my mission, deepening the meaning of making a difference along the way.
Would I want to come back?
Absolutely. Not “to do more,” so to speak, but to continue to work for the happiness of others, to continue making a difference in people’s lives.
What would you do?
